Okay, how should I start for my first blog? In the very beginning, I am feel uncomfortable to write blogs, mainly due I am not good in commanding English language and I feel not comfortable to publish my writing online (worry for bad comments from others). However, after viewing blogs from other people, I feel better as there many of them are just like me also. And, so I plan to blog, also because this is one of the best way I can express my views and opinions for anythings.
Long before that, my perception on blogging is only for people to create a big issues for discussion and for others comment about it. But, recently I discovered that blogging is not just like that, I can use it as my personal online diary, post my experiences for future reference, also I can use it as my memory dumping place. :) Other than that, I can also sharing some of my findings or documentations of anything and then I can include it into my emails as a link to my blog site, for my friends to create comment on it. As for some of my personal or private blogs/journals, I will change the permission, so that it will not be published online.
Of course, we must also be very careful when posting a blog which can cause unforseen consequences, especially the posts are sensitive to politics and religions ;)
By publishing my views, ideas or any words into this blog site, then I can easily share it with links inserted into my emails/messenger. In other words, I can use my same contents, withut need to retype again.
I have tried to create blog using Windows Live Space, however the site is too much of unnecessary functions and advertisements is very annoying. I have difficulty to update my blogs, especially with my slow internet connection (GPRS or EDGE dial-up). And then I tried to sign-up at blogspot.com which one of the biggest blog sites. In blogger/blogspot.com, it is much quicker & easier to post a blogs or topic and it has a very clean and clear website, without annoying things showing in the site.
Oftenly, my MSN/YM friends asking for my advices or to discuss about a topic, and then the same type of those topics are always being discussed, "repeatedly" in my MSN/YM/GT messaging, so I think it is better to be published it into a blog website, and allowing everybody to comment. And thus that is why I here to signed up blogger.com ;)
In blogspot, I've noted that, I can create multiple blog websites with single google/gmail account, but Windows Live Space allow one blog website per single Windows Live (hotmail) account. For example, I can have http://mydiary.blogspot.com/ http://myblog.blogsport.com/ http://mytechinfo.blogspot.com/ and I can set different permission for each sites too. Isn't great ?
